LaHave Beauty

An intricate pieced quilt with many dazzling points requiring the most skilled stitchery. The original design comes from New York state, the most famous example of which belongs to the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. We called ours the LaHave Beauty because the colors reflect a sunset over the verdant LaHave River in Nova Scotia.
